Media Intersections

Research and review articles published by CMRG are regularly picked up by the mass media as they are often globally relevant and applicable to the advancement of health and welfare of society. For example, a recent review article published by the CMRG regarding frequent consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages and the onset of cardiometabolic diseases drew worldwide attention of the popular media and was published in a substantial number of news outlets on different continents. It was also shared by a considerable number of people on social networking websites and already listed in the top 5% of the research outputs of Altmetric of the Oxford University Press.
